<p>Lower abs can be the hardest part to tone. Unless you get in to a routine of working on your body consistently the harsh fact is that it will begin to show. <p><strong>The Secret To A Killer Lower Abs Workout Routine</strong><br /> The secret to having killer abs is not just working on sit-ups. Ab exercises are good but if you want to see your abs you must be fat burning as well. Fat burning is more important than the exercises. So the food we eat and our cardio routines are VERY important and will have a big difference on how your body looks.</p>
<p><strong>Double Leg Raises</strong><br /> Double leg raises are a great exercise. You start on your back with your legs in the air and 90 degrees. Now lower them down slowly but do not put them on the ground. As they come down, hold at the bottom for a breath and then raise them back up to 90 degrees. Repeat 10x. To make it harder you can add weight to your feet/ankles. This is like weights on any other part of the body, it will speed the process up and make the muscles big and easier to see.</p>
<p><strong>Leg Raises From A Bar</strong><br /> Knee raises are another great exercises. Find a solid pull up bar or equivalent that you can use. The exercise is quite simple, however its also quite hard. Hanging loosely, slowly raise the knees towards your chest and lower again. You can also do this by raises straight legs to 90 degrees. Do not be worried if you can not do many at first. After practice you can build up to 20 reps. This exercise is great for the lower abs and core.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I never thought I would see the day when I would say I enjoy my <a target="_blank" href="http://www.turbulencetrainingforabs.com/trial-offer.shtml">lower abs workout</a>. Well, the day has arrived. If you had known me a few years ago, you would understand why I feel the way I do. I used to be a total slob. I hated every exercise, especially those pertaining to the abdomen.</p>
<p> Apparently, it is important to keep your abdomen strong. So it is important to keep a good <a target="_blank" href="http://www.squidoo.com/abdominal-workouts-that-work">lower ab workout</a> My doctor stated that not exercising your &#8220;core&#8221; is like building a home with out a footer (foundation). He told me that the stronger the core, the stronger the body. The weaker the core, the weaker the body. So far I was following his lead.</p>
<p> Apparently, the abdomen muscles are in triplicate. This means there are three parts. The first he explained are the Rectus Abdominis. When I tried to pronounce these words, I got completely tongue tied. Thankfully his description was easier. These are the ab muscles most people treasure. People work hard to display them to the world.</p>
<p> Transversus Abdominis were the next difficult words. Goodness me! I hope I never have to spell it. My doctor said that very few people know this part of the abdomen exists! I wondered why. He said it is a part of the abdomen that cannot easily be seen. So, most also do not know this helps you to shoot out air forcefully from your lungs. I never realized this.</p>
<p> Finally, there are the Obliques. I do like the sound of that word. It was explained to me that these help me to stand straight. The obliques also allow me to rotate my upper body, and with moving side to side. I found out something new about my body. I did not learn this in health class.</p>
<p> Whether we know it or not, we each day must use our abdomen muscles. Without them it would be very (if not totally) difficult to move. When we bend over, we use our abdomen. When we turn our torso, we use these muscles. When we reach, these fibers are stretched. The simple movement of sitting up requires the use of our ab muscles.</p>
<p> I did not imagine that the tissue lying over my stomach was so vital to my well being. I am enthusiastic about exercise now. I am not worried about the &#8220;beauty&#8221; part of abs, but I am concerned about how these affect my daily life. How will this change my way of life in later years? I want to be able to care for myself when I reach my golden years. I had better take care of them now.</p>
<p> You can search the Internet for a great <a target="_blank" href="http://trcb.com/Health-and-Fitness/Exercise/I-Enjoy-My-Abs-Workout-19555.htm">abs workout</a>. There are many resources on the types of exercises you can do to make your stomach area stronger. If you prefer, you can find books in your public library. You can hire a personal trainer. You may even have a friend (or friends) who can help you start an exercise regimen. What ever you decide to do make sure you study extensively what your options are. You may want to get the opinion of your health care provider before you begin any exercise program. Start slowly and progress at your own pace.</p>
