Weight Loss and Workout Advice Pt 1.

This is all of the people trying to lose weight. DON’T BECOME FIXATED WITH “X” AMOUNT OF POUNDAGE (unless under medical orders) !!! That is a sure fire way for failure. Use you mirror and how you feel in general. Because you can lose your “X” amount and STILL not be satisfied with how you look. Or, you don’t lose a certain amount of poundage and since you get fixated on that amount, you get depressed and give up. That’s an ol training trick by gym trainers.. It’s cool to monitor your weight but, don’t become fixed on a number. Hell, you might not even have to lose alot of weight to begin with.

I’m a prime example. I weigh 280 (probably give or take 10-20 pounds) and at 6’3″, I’m obese by current guidelines. But, I workout 5 days/week, am in good physical condition (watch me get hit by a bus), and I’m nowhere near “obese” by current guidelines. I only monitor my weight. I gave up on saying, “I need to lose ‘such and such’ by ‘so and so’.” Because, I was never happy. And, I found out alot of people were like me…

So, just keep a exercise program, eat 4-5 meals a day (YES, YOU HAVE TO EAT TO LOSE WEIGHT), drink plenty of water, do some sort of cardio, and monitor your progress by the mirror and how you feel. Don’t fall into the poundage game… REAL TALK…
