Lower abs can be the hardest part to tone. Unless you get in to a routine of working on your body consistently the harsh fact is that it will begin to show. The Secret To A Killer Lower Abs Workout Routine
The secret to having killer abs is not just working on sit-ups. Ab exercises are good but if you want to see your abs you must be fat burning as well. Fat burning is more important than the exercises. So the food we eat and our cardio routines are VERY important and will have a big difference on how your body looks.
Double Leg Raises
Double leg raises are a great exercise. You start on your back with your legs in the air and 90 degrees. Now lower them down slowly but do not put them on the ground. As they come down, hold at the bottom for a breath and then raise them back up to 90 degrees. Repeat 10x. To make it harder you can add weight to your feet/ankles. This is like weights on any other part of the body, it will speed the process up and make the muscles big and easier to see.
Leg Raises From A Bar
Knee raises are another great exercises. Find a solid pull up bar or equivalent that you can use. The exercise is quite simple, however its also quite hard. Hanging loosely, slowly raise the knees towards your chest and lower again. You can also do this by raises straight legs to 90 degrees. Do not be worried if you can not do many at first. After practice you can build up to 20 reps. This exercise is great for the lower abs and core.
