Congrats dude!!
You did an amazing job.
I just started a diet Sunday.
I’ve exercised everyday and eat only healthy foods.
Cut out the soda completely and sugar and junk.
I do eat bread, but only whole wheat.
And only eat the bread on a sandwich every other day.
My diet is pretty similar to yours.
This is really an inspiration for me.
=)

kitty- no it wasn’t …
kitty- no it wasn’t enough calories to build muscle, but to burn weight at extreme rate it was. No one male/female should ever drop below 1200 calories a day. I was eating right around this, when I should have been eating around 2500 a day. This deficit along with extreme exercise (around 600+ calories burned a day) I was losing weight extremely fast, but at an unhealthy rate. I don’t recommend this for anyone since the toll it took on my body. After 10 months I had to learn to balance!

If that’s all you ate for 10 months, what happened after the 10 months?
That’s not enough calories for a man is it, especially when you’re exercising… You look good don’t get me wrong, but that’s not too healthy, is it?

xsky- I started …
xsky- I started this whole journey with p90x, so at my heaviest was when I was doing p90x. So you can do it! Pretty much seeing myself begin to change was all the focus I needed!
As for my diet, you won’t enjoy it, I was very strict.
Breakfast: Oatmeal (old fashioned 1/2 cup w/ cinnamon)
Lunch: Slim turkey (1 serving) and a Kashi granola bar.
Snack: Protein shake/bar/fruit
Dinner: 1 Cup Brown rice and a grilled chicken breast and veggies.
That was all I ate everyday for about 10 months..!!

In the beginning it …
In the beginning it was mostly weights, p90x mostly. Then once summer came around I had lost enough weight to start running, then running took over the summer, everyday 5 miles or so until this past November. Then I had lost too much weight and looked sickly. Now I do cardio about once a week and do p90x workouts every other day and have put on about 10lbs of muscle. Running melted most of the fat off me, but muscle as well, so I would advise to have a good balance of both!

Mathlec1981- Keep up the great work and don’t get discouraged, the first couple of weeks are the hardest, once you get your routine your golden! When I started I couldn’t run a mile, now I just ran a half marathon! Keep up the great work and keep a journal and take pictures! Share your progress!
