A lot of people have mentioned that this year they will not be getting their children things like play systems but will go out and get their kids brand new Xbox 360’s and PS3’s. So although this may be exactly what your children are after is it really what you should be getting them and are play sets really that outdated?

No they are not outdated at all. Many smaller kids loving getting the wooden climbing frames and things like that but you really cannot start to set it up till the spring which can be a big problem for the kids to understand. This is why you should always get them other things such as dolls and computer games on top of the active things so they can have something to do during the Christmas holidays.

Of course when the age of the child goes up they are not going to be wanting to play with those swings and slides which is where that important trampoline comes into it. The one good thing about these is that it doesnt matter how old you are, you can have fun on it.

What is there that can be done? A lot of the time there is not enough money going around to get your child an expensive games console and also a trampoline too? Well if your child has actually gone out and asked for something in particular then it would be very harsh not to get it if you can afford it. The best thing to do is not to go out and buy a games console if they are not sure on what they want, get them something like the trampoline.

Computer games are great but not for hours at a time so make sure that you get something that will give your kida bit of excercise too. You may live to regret it.
