How does temperature affect the burning of calories and weight loss?

Some people assume that exercising in a hot environment causes you to burn more calories and loss more weight, but it seems to me that would just be water weight lost through sweating. However, if you exercise in colder temperatures, wouldn’t that cause you to burn more calories, as your body must work harder to maintain our relatively high body temperatures?
You are correct! but I suggest warming (temp wise) up and stretching before working out in the cold. It will help avoid injuries.
